Multi-tenant systems are a common pattern in enterprise software. Multi-tenant systems are designed to provide every tenant a dedicated share of a single system instance (Wikipedia). The key benefit of a multi tenant system is the immediacy of a new (logical) customer instance. In a sense, it's a bit like an apartment building: you don't need to build a new building for each new tenant, but rather house many tenants in a single building, aided by common infrastructure like hallways and shared plumbing.
With all of this data, the team ran statistical models to understand which of the many inputs collected actually impacted team effectiveness. Using over 35 different statistical models on hundreds of variables, they sought to identify factors that:

Carputers! Fabrice Aneche is documenting his ongoing build, which equips an older (2011) car with some of the features a 2018 model might have: thus far, a reversing camera (bought off the shelf, with a modified GUI to show the date and the camera’s output built with Qt and Golang), GPS and offline route guidance. …

This guidance was developed following testing on devices running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. It's important to remember that this guidance has been conceived as a way to satisfy the 12 End User Device Security Principles. As such, it consists of recommendations and should not be seen as a set of mandatory instructions requiring no further thought.
Star Ruler 2 is a massive scale 4X/RTS set in space. Explore dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of systems in a galaxy of your choosing, expand across its planets, exploit the resources you find, and ultimately exterminate any who stand in your way. The fate of your empire depends on your ability to master the economy, field a military, influence galactic politics, and learn what you can about the universe.
Successful Scrum implementations involve a handful of important ceremonies. This includes sprint planning, the sprint review, the daily scrum, the sprint retrospective and more.
There’s often a lot of confusion about who participates, when these ceremonies are conducted, how long each can take, the purpose of the ceremony, and more.
To reduce the confusion, we’ve created infographics that answer each of these questions for sprints of 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-weeks.

Name that lens is a shareware, cross-platform, desktop application (for Windows, MacOS and Linux) for adding manual lens information to camera RAW files.
Many of the photographs you will find in the galleries on this site were taken with classic/vintage manual lenses. Unlike with a modern auto-focus lens, a digital camera has no way of determining what lens was used to take a photo, or indeed what the aperture and focal length were set to. It is therefore not possible to record this metadata in the image RAW file or processed JPEG file. I personally find this unacceptable and maddening! What I really wanted was a simple way to keep a record of all my lenses and be able to quickly and easily add the desired information to my photographs.
After hunting around the internet for a while, the only solution I found that came close to what I wanted was the excellent LensTagger plugin for Lightroom. This plugin did nearly everything I wanted, but (obviously) only works with Lightroom. As I often work with different tools (Darktable for example) on operating systems for which Lightroom is not available (Linux) I decided to create this little application ad share it with anyone who might find it useful.
NameThatLens, in its current form, is essentially a GUI for the wonderful ExifTool by Phil Harvey, but I have plans to make the application standalone in the near future.
Bash has lots of different kinds of brackets. Like, many much lots. It adds meaning to doubling up different brackets, and a dollar sign in front means something even more different. And, the brackets are used differently than many other languages. I constantly find myself doing a 5-second search for which one is the right one to do since I'm not writing Bash scripts all the time. So here, I'm going to lay them all out and then print this article out and staple it to the wall by my desk. Possibly with a decorative frame. So here we go.
